Limited Lifetime Warranty on Solid Gold Pieces

For all solid gold jewelry pieces (Makaro Diamonds Collection, Makaro Engagement Collection and Makaro Wedding Bands Collection), we offer a lifetime warranty, so you can rest assured that we will take loving care of your jewelry should it ever need repair. We stand behind our work 100%, so we will repair your jewelry whenever it needs repair for as long as you own it.

All repairs (except restrictions - see below) within the first 2 years after purchase are free of charge. After 2 years we charge a small service fee and/or material cost contribution for your repair service. Our master goldsmiths will contact you to discuss repair options and possible costs. Possible shipping costs for the return shipment for repair services are to be paid by the customer.

Warranty Limitations:

  • Our warranty does not cover the replacement of diamonds with a weight of more than 0.3 ct.

  • Our warranty does not cover damage to jewelry beyond normal use. This also applies to broken chains, lost individual pieces, etc.

  • Our warranty does not cover jewelry that has been altered by other goldsmiths or adapted.

Care

To keep your Makaro Solid Gold jewelry in perfect condition, we recommend the following:

  • Always take your piece of jewelry off before coming into contact with chemicals (e.g., chemical cleaners)

  • Take off your jewelry for sleeping, swimming, sports, gardening, etc., to avoid damage or loss.

  • Clean your jewelry regularly with warm water and mild soap.
